AFS ARCHELON

Published by Kenny Conklin on

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This is a build of the Wave AFS Archelon. The kit was built mostly OOB with the exception sculpted epoxy joint covers, misc small details and replacing the kit “radiators” with ones from a 3 Sheeps PE set.

The kit is airbrushed with Tamiya Acrylics. I used the HS technique to create the worn camo scheme. The model was then weathered with enamels, pigments, and lots of work with oil paints.

Bryan Krueger (Maschinen) has kindly shared his build with us at SciFiantasy. The kit is the AFS Archelon. He brings us through a pictorial step by step of his outstanding build.[/vc_column_text][kleo_gap][vc_gallery type=”grid” images=”222,221,220,219,218,217,216,208,209,210,211,212,213,214,215,207,206″][/vc_column][/vc_row]

I have been building models since I am about 8 years old. As many of us have, I picked up the hobby from my father. Without him I would probaby have never known this great hobby. I like to build everything from Military Models to Starships. Right now my passion is to build and light science fiction models.
