SciFiantasy Star Trek USS Enterprise

Michael Lalor has entered his Enterprise from Star Trek 3: The Search for Spock.

It’s the 1/537 scale AMT/ERTL kit from back in the day with an aftermarket destroyed saucer resin kit I believe is from Warp. I bought it back in the mid 90’s but never got around to completing it. So I decided to finally build the kit and it’s what got me into model making. The build involved first building the Enterprise clean so it looked like new. I even added Aztecing to a clean paint job. Then a lot of weathering using reference shots from the actual model that was auctioned off a few years ago and screen references from the movie. I tried to make the weathering and scorch marks as accurate as possible to the actual studio model. Everything was by me except for the wooden base which I bought.

This build will be entered in the Star Trek Ships and Vehicles all scales (Non-Illuminated) category.
